BIG is a 50 on Fire Finalist!

BIG is a finalist for Chicago Inno's 50 on Fire!  Check out the full list of nominees (and our spotlight in the Education category) here.

BIG supports bold, early-stage ideas at UChicago through rapid funding (up to $100K) and long-term support (up to 2 years) to manage the risks of growth for the nascent research projects. During the academic year 2014-2015, BIG has given over $1M to thirty basic research projects.

Recognizing inventors, disrupters, luminaries and newsmakers, Chicago Inno's 50 on Fire celebrates visionary individuals and companies across Chicago’s top industries.  Of the 150 nominees, the 50 winners will be announced in December 2015.
